3daysofdesign – Event Photography and Storytelling
Compendia Studio was commissioned by 3daysofdesign, Denmark’s leading annual design festival, to serve as one of their official photographers during the press tours in Copenhagen. Working to a detailed brief and brand guidelines, we delivered a mix of event photography and video clips that documented visits to showrooms and studios including Louis Poulsen, Hem, Fora Form, Dagmar, and Bjarke Ingels Group. The project required a documentary-style approach, cycling between venues, adapting quickly to diverse lighting and spatial conditions, and capturing not just design objects but the atmosphere, textures, and human interactions that define the festival. Our work was published across 3daysofdesign’s official platforms, contributing to the festival’s global visibility, which spans more than 500 design and lifestyle publications. The commission highlighted our ability to combine speed, precision, and creative storytelling in a live event setting, aligning us with one of the most respected names in international design culture.
